Nice little piece, though I think I would challenge the assumption that living in balance with the planet necessitates economic deceleration, or zero growth. Ah well, regardless, the planet's battles will certainly continue without us when we're gone. I agree though, sometimes it is awfully nice to be here, meanwhile.
